If you are interested in me contributing to your gardening TV programme, publication or event I can be contacted here.
I have twenty years of experience growing audiences for major online publishers, magazines and newspapers. I currently write a weekly column for The Telegraph about the joys of homegrown food from my allotment. Back in the day I wrote for the music and children’s TV sectors (at one point Basil Brush was my boss!), then moved on to digital technology and later education. Now I focus purely on nature and gardening, writing for RHS’ The Garden, Gardener’s World, Gardens Illustrated, The Telegraph, Garden News, The Guardian, Plant Heritage, The Independent and others. I was lucky enough for this site to win the GMG Blog of the Year in 2017.
Presenting and talks
I’m available to give talks and presentations at conferences, garden clubs and for TV / radio. Over the years I’ve appeared on TV shows like BBC’s Big Dreams, Small Spaces, ITV’s This Morning, BBC News, and Sky News. I’ve given talks at the Gardener’s World Live, Landscape, the Garden Museum and a number of regional clubs.
