Chris and I feel incredibly lucky to have been away to Cornwall for a week in autumn this year given everything that is happening with covid-19. It’s our only holiday of the year and we opted for a safe bet to head to St. Ives in Cornwall, one of our favourite spots and a place I have been visiting on and off for over 30 years. For Chris and I, St. Ives always seems to coincide with life events and changes in direction, it’s the perfect place to contemplate and reflect on the bigger picture. This time our trip took a more elemental path, visiting ancient sites, coastal walks and beautiful old fishing villages. For me, it’s the spending time with Chris and experiencing these things together that matters. Cornwall speaks to my heart in its unique way, through its coastal climate, sheer cliffs, rock and stone that has witnessed so much change through the ages. Creatively, everything about this place inspires me and shapes how I see the world, no doubt informing my design outputs in one way or another.
Wonderful scenery. Thank you for sharing
