Winter Solstice – Hebden Bridge – limited edition signed print

Description

Winter Solstice over Hebden Bridge is part of a first wave of landscape studies in my 1,000 landscapes project. Inspired by the sun setting over the peatland moors around our farm, creating beautiful colours, reminding us of the rugged, unpredictable nature of this spot on planet Earth. The original is semi-abstract watercolour on paper, helping draw out the mood of the wild Pennine hilltop moors. My landscape work blends abstraction with reality to land somewhere between the two based on moments while walking these hills. An attempt to understand and evoke emotions we feel standing in nature. In this series I have deliberately not included any human structure to help me and the viewer focus on geology, wildlife, weather and light.

• Limited edition print: there are only 10 copies
• Signed: signature and edition number will sit on the white border just below the image
• Archival-quality ink on fine-art paper: hand approved to match the original

Due to the handmade nature of these prints, delivery can take a few weeks but is often faster.
